Qualification Requirements

The qualification requirements for VVB are as follows:

The organisation should be accredited under one of the following:
- Hong Kong Certification Body Accreditation Scheme (HKCAS) - Certification Service: "Greenhouse Gas Assertions Validation / Verifications”
- China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) - Validation and Verification Bodies: “GHG Validation and Verification Bodies”
The organisation should employ at least one CCA. Please click HERE for the qualification requirements of CCA.

The qualification requirements for VB are as follows:

The organisation should fulfil one of the following:
- Accredited under Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS), Hong Kong Certification Body Accreditation Scheme (HKCAS), Hong Kong Inspection Body Accreditation Scheme (HKIAS)
- Comply with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17021, or ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation
